International cooperation with the USA.
As it happens, by chance, recommendations and unexpected connections, we have had the opportunity to meet with a very interesting delegation from the United States in the Czech Republic. The delegation had a purely aquaponic mission, and Angela TenBroeck (see below) was the lead person. During our meeting, which eventually lasted for 4 days, we discussed many aspects of aquaponics, such as technical and technological solutions, business aspects, cooperation possibilities, prospects for the future of Europe and the USA, the development of aquaponics around the world and a whole lot more that we came across. Anyway, we did not manage to discuss everything we wanted.
However, for the first time in six years, we met a true authority on the aquaponics world playground. Angela builds commercial and community aquaponic farms and, among other things, assesses the safety and quality of existing aquapark farms worldwide as a Food Safety Officer. Of course, we immediately thought of inviting Angela to inspect the Czech farms conncted with our association and to get valuable information from someone who has been involved in the topic for more than 30 years. Therefore we were very creasured that the farm and research center evaluation was finally very positive and, in addition to some recommendations on how to increase efficiency, the solution was recognized as very good and clever.
For all members of the association, this means a huge increase in self-confidence and the assurance that what we have devised, implemented and planned in the Czech Republic is the world's top level, and we can be regarded as world-class in the field. In the future, we are expecting a close cooperation with the United States on world projects, and on the other hand, we can look forward to the more frequent participation of Angella and her team on projects in Europe. We are very pleased that we have received world recognition and can look forward to cooperating with the best. We also learned more about farm financing and access to investors. The approach of investors in the Czech Republic is quite specific and at present it is the biggest obstacle in the development of aquaponic projects. Through this negotiation, we have opened the door to future investments from both the US and the EU, and this could have a decisive impact on the quality of water, food, agriculture and ultimately the lives of many people in the Czech Republic. Aquaponics is just good.
Thank you, Angela TenBroeck, thank all readers.
